Enter
invoice fields
- Once you have selected the
customer, the company's default information will be filled in.
Any of the fields on this screen can be edited and will not affect your
company database.
Invoice # - This will automatically be generated. To manually enter an invoice #, uncheck the "Auto #" option, and enter the number in the "Invoice #" field.
Invoice date - This will automatically defaults to the current date.
Bill To and Ship To - These fields are automatically filled in from the company database
Customer PO - Enter the customer's purchase order number
Ship Via - This field defaults to the "Ship Via" field in Company Information of the customer. You may also enter or choose from the drop-down list. You can modify the Ship Via list in Setup | Defaults & Lists.
Ship Date - This automatically defaults to today's date.
Terms - This field defaults to the "Sell Terms" field in Company Information of the customer. You may also enter or choose from the drop-down list. You can modify the Terms list in Setup | Defaults & Lists.
Salesperson - This field defaults to the "Salesperson" field in Company Information of the customer.
Buyer - Enter the customer's buyer
