PartBase PRO can import data files acquired from many different sources: email attachments, website downloads, data services, and inventory floppy disks. Data can be imported into offers, requirements, inventory and the company database.

There are two ways of importing:

Standard Import - The standard "Import Data" window can be opened by selecting "Utilities" from the menu then selecting "Import Data" or by choosing "Import Data" from the PartBase Classic Menu. Here you can choose the file to import and select the fields to import

Customized Import - The "Customized Import" is found in Maintenance Utilities. Here you can import files received or downloaded from approved data services websites. The import process is optimized for each data service website.
