Cross-Link Requirements

From the Reports menu bar select Cross-Link Requirements or select the Cross-Link icon from the PartBase Classic menu.  The “Cross Link Requirements” window will appear.

To select the database to search on, put a check next to "Search Offers" and/or "Search Inventory. We suggest that you only create this report on one database at a time because there is a lot of information to sort through and the procesing may take a while.

Search offers from: This is how many days back you want to select offers from. Offers may be valid for a limited time, so 10 to 15 days is probably reasonable.

Requirement Date: Here you choose the requirement dates that you want to search. Remember requirements are valid for only a few days. So it would be best to use only 2 to 3 of days back.

Customer code: You are able to narrow your requirement search to a specific customer to meet the needs of that customer.

Salesperson: If you have a specific sales person that you what to check requirements on you can enter their name.

Match Exact Prefix: When this is selected, only Part Numbers that matches the exact prefix of the requirements will be printed.

Match Exact Part Number: When this is selected, only Part Numbers that matches the requirements exactly will be printed.

Print Preview: This will give you a chance to preview the report before you print it.

Process in background: When this option is selected, the report will process in the background which will allow you to open up other windows in PartBase Pro. However this will slow down the processing of the report.

Print: Start the report. This report requires a lot of processing so it may take a while depending on the option settings
