You must decide where you want to install PartBase PRO and its database files. Make sure you have enough hard drive space to accommodate the data files as it grows. Please see System Requirements. PartBase PRO can be installed in a shared folder that is accessible to all users of PartBase. Or you may first install PartBase in any folder then share the "PBasePRO" folder (you must have at least version 1.0.004 of PartBase to do this). You must also give full access to the "PBasePRO" folders and its subdirectories.
Insert the PartBasePRO CD into the CD-ROM drive. The CD will automatically start the PartBase PRO Setup screen. If the CD does not start, double-click on the My Computer icon and click on the CD-ROM drive. Locate the SETUP.EXE icon and double-click on it to start the PartBase PRO setup program.
