In Maintenance Utilities, after running a delete function, why do some part items not get deleted?

Parts with a cost/resale value will not be deleted unless the "Delete parts with pricing info?" option is checked.

Each delete function has its own settings. Make sure you enter the correct value in the settings box.

Make sure you select the correct database file.

After deleting inventory, offers, or requirements, why does the # of records remain the same in Search Parts?

After deleting a large # of records in any file, it is recommended that you "Pack and Reindex" the file. Deleted records still remains in the file until you "pack" the file.

In Exporting Inventory, why does the # of records exported not match the # of records in Search Parts?

In Export Inventory, if you leave the "Export Criteria" blank, it will export all inventory. However you may have deleted records still in the file. They do not get exported and will cause the record count to be different. Deleted records still remain in the file until you "pack" the file.  In Maintenance Utilities, "Pack and Reindex" the Inventory file.

How do I delete ALL Inventory, Offers or Requirements?

There is no function to specifically delete all data in a file.

But you can use the "Delete by Quantity" function in Maintenance Utilities. In the settings box enter "9999999999" for the quantity. Select the database to delete. Check the "Delete parts with pricing info?" option. And start the maintenance. You should also "Pack and Reindex" the files.
