| Maintenance Utilities - Importing Data Service Files |
| Import Chip Source data into PartBase PRO | |
| #1 | Import Chip Source: Choose the On-line service that you would like to import |
| #2 | Ignore Quantity Less Than: PartBase will not import the quantity less than the number in this box. |
| #3 | Delete Previous Chip Source Offers: When this box is checked PartBase Pro will delete the prior Chip Source entries and replace them with the newest download. |
| #4 | Delete Chip Source File after Import: This feature will delete the Chip Source file you are importing into PartBase after it has finished importing. |
| #5 | Chip Source Files Directory:
This where you
need to select the path to the directory to where you saved your file
from the download. Once you have entered a path PartBase will
remember it when you want to import another Chip Source file.
Click on: Select Choose the directory that you downloaded the Chip Source files into. (C:\PartBasePRO\Import\ChipSource) |

| Go to the Start tab | |
| Uncheck the "Lock database from other users for faster processing". If you want to be able to search in the offers database while importing. If you do not do so, no other user will be able to search in the offers database while the importing is occurring. | |
| Click on "Begin Maintenance" | |
| Begin Maintenance Utilities "YES" | |
| Depending on how many files are in this directory, this import can take a while | |
| Maintenance Complete "OK" | |
