Importing Hi-Tech Parts (HTP) downloads has been updated to their new file format. It will also import the DBF or TXT file if it is already unzipped.

Importing BrokerForum email attachments has been updated to be able to import using their current email attachment filename format - ( BF_BF_PKOPL8363809852_PKOPL8363809852_0_File_Base64.zip).

Importing ChipSource emails has been updated to import their current format.

In "Maintenance Utilities", there is now an option to import the IC Source "DIGEST.ZIP" file. Click here for instructions.

In "Cross-Link Requirements" report, the comment field length has been expanded.

Fixed "Unexpected error 1925 - Unknown member LABEL3" during displaying company in search screen. This occurs when pressing a key when the cursor is on the comp code or name.

In the View/Edit Company Info screen, the "Manufacturers Carried" list now will display the mfg. Info by double-clicking on the mfg.

In the View/Edit Company Info screen, when you click on "Copy Billing Info", it will now ask you first before copying the fields.

In Search Inventory, fixed bug with Searching Alt Part #  which doesn't save the column settings and preferences.

Fixed "Unexpected error 11 - Function argument value, type, or count is invalid " which occurs in "Delete by Company/Date" screen. This sometimes happens when closing and re-opening the window.

In Importing Companies, it no longer capitalizes all the letters when importing.

In Importing Companies, duplicate company codes can no longer be imported.

In "Unmatched Codes" report, there is now an option to scan for Offers and/or Requirements.

In "Unmatched Codes" report,  you can now automatically add the unmatched codes to the "Company Code Conversion Table"

On menu bar, added "Help" menu option and added "PartBase on the Web" submenu option. Links to the PartBase website, PartBase manual and Fixes and Updates page are now added to the menu.

During "Import Data" in "Map database fields", it will give a message if a field is mapped more than once.

In "Import Data", when importing a compressed (.ZIP) file which contains multiple files, you will now be able to see the list of files in the "Zipped file" field.

When importing companies, fixed issue which causes a  "Cannot access the selected table" error.

In Maintenance Utilities, fixed misspelling of "All Offer Files"

In Apply Payments, fixed "File in use" error when applying more than one payment

When importing IC Source offers, it is now coded as "OFFER" in the Code field.

When importing IC Source inventory file, overwrite will only delete imported IC Source inventory, not offers.

In Invoicing, you now have an option to not delete inventory record when quantity is reduced to 0. This option in set in Setup.

In Sales Module, a new Invoice Report has been added. You must first go to user access to give the rights to run the report. The Sales menu has been modified to add the new report.

In Sales Report, the Extended Price and Cost now rounds to 2 decimal points. Which fixes the rounding error in the total at end of report.

You now have the option to disable the user list at login. This setting is found in Setup - Defaults & Lists.

You now have the option to remember the last user logged in and automatically fill in the user name at login. This setting is found in Setup - Defaults & Lists.

Fixed "Unexpected error: 1903 - String is too long to fit." error when adding new users in Setup-User Access. This occurs when no password is entered.

In Maintenance Utilities-Pack and Index, fixed an issue with the "Reindex only" option which causes the .CDX filesize to be larger than it should.

In View/Edit Mfg "Companies that carries mfg" window, you can now double-click on company to bring up info for that company.

The "Select Company" window in Invoicing and Add Parts now remembers the last "Search By" option.

In Invoicing, fix bug which causes the "Select Company window" to open up again after closing it.

In Export Inventory, there is now an option to export the prefix and part # combined in one field.

In Export Inventory, it now gives warning message when exporting more that 16383 records to XLS file format.

Fixed "Error 39 - Numeric Overflow" error during importing parts. This is caused when importing a quantity with a value of 1000000000 or more. Currently, the maximum quantity allowed is 999999999. Now, whenever a quantity is being imported with a quantity greater than 999999999, it will be changed to 999999999. The current HTP inventory download file contains a record which causes this error.

In Search Inventory, Requirements, Offers, and Sales History, fixed bug which causes the cursor to disappear in the "Search For" text box. This happens when the mouse pointer is moved in the toolbar menu.

The first time this update is run, after you login, you will see the message "Convert Company Codes Conversion Table Updated"

Hi-Tech Parts (HTP) www.hitechparts.com download data can now automatically be imported. 
In "Maintenance Utilities", two new options has been added in "Customized  Import" page:

-     "Hi-Tech Parts Inventory DBF Download"
From their website, download Inventory DBF file. This file is downloaded with "inventory-dbf.zip" as the filename. This is a ZIP file which is over 60Meg is size. Once it is unzipped, the file is over 1 Gig in size. As of now, there are over 4 million records. Make sure you have enough space prior to importing this file. -     "Hi-Tech Parts Offers and Reqs Download". 
From their website, you can download the daily requirements and offers DBF files. Save these daily files in the same directory. Click here for step-by-step instructions.

New HTP company codes, which are in the format HTP#### where #### is the member #,  can automatically be imported into the Company Codes Conversion Table. There is no need to manually enter in new codes to convert. While importing, company codes will automatically be converted to the PartBase code if it exists in the conversion table. The "Convert Codes" Conversion table now also shows the imported phone, fax and email and is now resizable. 

For HTP records with company codes that has not been converted in Search Offers and Search Requirements, you can double-click on the HTP company code to display the company name, phone, fax and email imported into the Company Codes Conversion Table.

Fixed bug in Classic Menu which causes the following error messages
- Unexpected error 1923 - object GFRMPBMENUSMALL is not found 
- Unexpected error 1924 - GFRMPBMENUSMALL is not an object

Fixed "error 1-9 corruption file detected" error resulting from a misconfigured shortcut icon. It now displays a friendlier message saying to fix shortcut.

Fixed "Can not delete temp file - Access denied" problem during startup.

Fixed "You've reached maximum # of 0 users" message that occurs on startup on certain installations.

Classic menu now displays better with different Windows color schemes

When adding a new user, the "Active User" checkbox is now checked.

Fixed error that occurs in "Lookup Invoice" when no invoices exist.

In Maintenance Utilities, there is now an option to "Clear Selections" and start over.

After Maintenance is completed, there is now an option to "Start Over" if you wish to run maintenance again. You now don't have to close the window and select again.

Chipsource Email attachments can now be automatically imported into Offers and Requirements using Maintenance Utilities . The Chipsource filenames begin with "rad" and ends in "csv" (for example: rad87DF4.csv). Save these files in the same directory.  Select this directory as the Chipsource emails directory in  "Import Chipsource Emails Settings" window.

In Import Data, added option to Delete Previous Import from the company you are importing. This also has the option to whether or not to delete records with pricing information. This option is for Inventory, Offers and Requirements.

In Import Data, you now have an option to import OEM Excess or availabilities into inventory. You can select the Vendor code to import and also have the option to specify a code used by the CODE field to mark this as excess.

In Maintenance Utilities - Delete by Quantity, fixed quantity field to allow up to 9 digits.

In Maintenance Utilities - Delete by Company, you can now Delete by Company (Vendor) in inventory.

In Maintenance Utilities,- added "Delete 2" page with option to Delete by Code.

In Inventory Reports, added "Vendor" and "Entered By" criteria.

Column positions and widths in Search Inventory, Search Offers, Search Requirements and Sales History will now save. To use this feature, select the "Save Search windows and columns positions" option on the Preference page in Setup.

In Import Data, quantities with a "K" will be converted to "thousands". For example, 100k will now be imported as 100000

In Import Data, quantities with a "," will now import properly. For example, importing a quantity text field with "12,000" will now import as 12000.

In Company Reports, the salesperson listbox now displays properly.

In Company Reports, fixed problem with Company Type listbox which caused certain types to not be listed.

In Requirements, Sales, & Offers Reports, salesperson listbox is now properly sorted.

In Setup, a new Preference page has been added. The screen layouts will be remembered and restored during logging in. These preferences are for each individual computer. It includes the following options: (You must first go to the Preference page to enable these features)

• save PartBase PRO Main window size and position
• save Part Search windows size and position
• save View/Edit windows size and position
• save Search Grid font and toolbar options 
• view Classic Menu on Startup

In Maintenance Utilities, you can now import IC Source Requirements emails attachments (Rxxxxxx.ZIP, Rxxxxxx.DBF) by adding the filename in the "Email Files to Import" list.

Fixed "Unexpected error: 1962 - directory is not empty" crash during startup. It will now show the name of the directory with the problem.

Fixed "Unexpected error: 1705 - file access is denied" crash during Import IC Source. This occurs on Read Only files. It now displays message and continues on.

Fixed "Unexpected error: 12 - Variable xxxxxxx is not found" crash in various search and utilities screens. This is caused by a corrupted index. It now displays message to reindex database.

In Search Offers, if no part is found, cursor is now placed in the proper area of  the database

In Adding/Editing Offers, fixed bugs where some Offers are being saved in the wrong file.
