PartBase PRO Information Modules

 Inventory Module

The PartBase Inventory Module was created so the independent stocking distributor could track his in-house stock with complete information at his fingertips. The PartBase inventory modules allows you to keep track of your in house inventory in many ways: including part number, entry date, manufacturer, date code, package type, location, cost, selling price, date entered, updated resale prices, a sort able code field, comments and who entered the information. The inventory database will easily hold over five million line items of in house stock.  PartBase allows you to open multiple windows side by side. The Inventory screen, Offers, Requirements, sales history, and company information can be now viewed at the same time. When you search on a part, all of your screens are updated simultaneously.

This module also enables you to create an array of almost unlimited reports.  The filters include: 16 fields, 4 sorted fields, 9 report criteria, and 3 print options. You can customize the exact report by selecting the appropriate data fields/filters PartBase has to offer.  This is especially useful when you want to send stock lists and filter out all information that is not required. Select fields required for the exporting of your inventory information at your discretion. Export to a file to your hard drive, floppy disk, or print a hard copy report to be faxed. PartBase will also compress (ZIP) the file for you.

 
 Sales Module

The Sales Module offers you complete invoicing capability.  Create invoices directly within PartBase and have all the information  you need in one place.  When you select a customer, the program automatically enters your ship to and bill to information.  You can either enter your part information manually, or get it directly from your inventory database.  When you sell from your inventory, PartBase has an option to automatically delete that item from your stock, saving you time. 

With the benefit of tracking sales history, you will be able to tell how much business you have done with any particular company and also keep track of what you have sold parts for, where you purchased them, your original Purchase Order number, your original cost, and much more.   Security protection is built in for RMAs, invoices, payments, credit holds, etc..   You can create your own terms and conditions and also up to five custom notes for printing on your invoices. The Sales Module is not a replacement for your accounting software, but rather something to enhance your ability to increase sales.
