Folgeventile blockieren den Ölfluss zu einem hydraulischen Sekundärkreis, bis im Primärkreis ein voreingestellter Druck erreicht wird. Folgeventile verfügen über ein eingebautes Rückschlagventil, so dass das Öl ohne Außenleitungen zurückfließen kann.
Beim V-2000-Ventil kann die Druckeinstellung mit Lösen oder Anziehen der Einstellschraube geändert werden. Bei den übrigen Modellen werden die Druckeinstellungen durch Lösen der Kontermutter und Drehen der Stellschraube bis zum Erreichen der gewünschten Einstellung geändert.
